My obsession is with texture and colour.

Textiles, and in particular mohair/mixed yarns, are the materials I am using to create a palette with mood and texture. I am currently producing a collection of ‘Paintings in Wool’, inspired by my oil studies of landscapes and the changing seasons. Each jumper is a unique interpretation blended from many different yarns. All include mohair to give the jumper a warm rich feeling when worn.
Knitting by hand, allows me to include up to seven yarns at once, mixing to get just the right colour , tone and texture. Each finished garment comes complete with the original oil painting, hand painted labels and written text, that explains my thoughts and ideas.
